This lovely lady is getting married in September to a great guy, so a few of my work colleagues and I wanted to celebrate their upcoming marriage. Since getting married to Boone was the best thing that ever happened to me, I think it’s SUPER important to make other brides-to-be feel special by going all out. it’s a pretty busy time of year for us, though, so we decided to do something fun but easy….ice cream sundaes and cocktails!How do southerners throw parties for their gal pal? like this:
We bring out the good silver, grandmother’s pink lace tablecloth, and the silly cherub candlesticks…
decorate the house with some easy-peasy (but big impact) details and make sure to have LOTS of stripey straws …
Pre-scooping the strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla ice cream and re-freezing it on a cookie sheet (to make serving a snap) PLUS making sure everyone’s favorite toppings are somewhere on the table…
nuts, pretzels, sprinkles, mini reeces, brownies, cookies, caramel sauce, chocolate syrup, cherries, strawberries, bananas, peaches, waffle cones, chocolate chipes, and homemade whipped cream are MUSTS.
As is getting the bar stocked with wine and girly pink drinks (recipes for vodka and grenadine woo-woos and Pink French 75s.. recipe on the blog)
And then they make their own perfect sundaes and party with all the ladies and celebrate the brides to be! 
Stephanie, I know your future will be so happy with Kevin and I hope you feel loved, supported, and celebrated. smooches!
